The life of a Solar PV project is 25 years and the power put is guaranteed at 80% at the 25th year of the project by the manufacturers of the solar panels. However, the Equity Investment by AEEF will be for a maximum period of between 5 to 10 years. The Management of AEEF will ensure an exit within this period either by getting the project developer to go for an IPO or buyback the AEEF’s equity at the valuation price (premium) existing at the time.
